Seafood okro soup, otherwise known as Fisherman’s Okra soup is a delicious mix of a variety of seafood and okro. The best thing about this kind of okra soup is the versatility; you can basically use any seafood of your choice.

Ingredients

  • 10 medium sized prawns or shrimps
  • 1 medium sized Tilapia
  • 5 medium snails (properly washed and cleaned)
  • 5 medium sized crabs (Optional)
  • 15 large Okro (diced)
  • 1 serving spoon of Nosak Famili palm oil
  • Pepper, as desired
  • Seasoning, as desired
  • Salt

 

Preparation

In a medium pot, add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.

Add the crabs and snails to the water, add seasoning and salt. Boil for 10 minutes.

Add the okro, 1 serving spoon of Nosak Famili Palm Oil and pepper as desired. Also check for salt and seasoning.

Add the prawns and fresh fish to the okro. Cook on low heat for 5 minutes.

The soup is ready to be served to your family with Eba, Semolina or Pounded Yam.
